Chelsea have been drawn to face Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. Chelsea beat the Germans in their own stadium in 2012 final to win their first ever UEFA Champions League trophy, and Bayern Munich players will be hoping for a sweet revenge when both teams face off in this year's round of 16.

How Bayern players reacted:

Thomas Muller: ‘As you can expect, there are teams taking part in the round of the last 16 that have European quality, but we are self-confident and I feel really good about the draw.

‘I don't know that much about the current situation at Chelsea, I only know the last results and as far as I know they're not performing that well, but I didn't see much of them to be honest.

‘But yeah, they have some forwards, for example [Callum] Hudson-Odoi or Christian Pulisic, who have some well-known qualities, but in football it's not about single players, it's about the team performance.’

Manuel Neuer: 'We’re really looking forward to London, where we’ve already had good experiences. This is a dangerous team, we have to take it very seriously and focus on the matter. Of course we want to advance on to the next round.

'I think we can go into the games with healthy confidence. We’re happy with our team, even against an attractive and good group like Chelsea.'

Serge Gnabry: 'Chelsea is a good team, and this will definitely be a good matchup. There’s also going to be a great atmosphere. We‘re looking forward to it. I still have a lot of friends in London who like to go to the games there. Due to my Arsenal past, this is of course still a special game.'

Joshua Kimmich: 'We‘re going into these games very aware. It’s still a ways off, so you can’t tell what form the teams will be in. But I think we’ll go into the games as favorites and I‘m confident that we’ll progress. The team is difficult to assess at the moment, since they don’t really have a run right now.'
