France national team manager, Didier Deschamps has advised Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud to find a new club after falling down the pecking order at Chelsea.

Giroud, who is France's number one striker is currently Chelsea's number three, behind Tammy Abraham and Mitchy Batshuayi, and Deschamps wants his number nine to play regular football ahead of the Euros in the summer.

'Giroud, like others, may have to move. His situation at Chelsea hasn't changed in two months.

'It would be better for him, of course, to go to a club where he would get more playing time. If he can't get it at Chelsea, the idea is to get it elsewhere.

'It's his decision. I don't know what offers he has, where it might be possible for him to get more playing time.

'We saw each other not so long ago. As with every player, he's the one who decides. But keep in mind that it's the daily life of players with their clubs that leads to France selection. He knows it. It's up to him to decide the best solution for himself.' Deschamps said.

Giroud has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in January.
