Chelsea beat Tottenham 0-2 earlier today to cement their fourth place in the English Premier League table, with Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard pulling a surprise, setting up with three defenders and two wing-backs which caught his mentor and Tottenham's manager, Jose Mourinho off guard.

Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville was full of praise for the tactical awareness showed by relatively inexperienced Frank Lampard.

“It was absolutely wonderful from Chelsea from minute one. I loved the performance. I thought it would be a tough day for Frank Lampard and that Jose Mourinho would smell blood with the run that they are on." Neville said.

“I thought Jose fancied it. He looked confident before the game but that was a brilliant, brilliant day for Frank. Chelsea fans will be so proud.”

“To see an English manager set up a team like that. Tottenham were out-thought and outplayed. Chelsea did everything right. It was a really good day for English coaching, not just for Chelsea.

“Frank was up against one of the best managers in the world from the last 25 years and he really held his own and that is an important moment for him. He really did get it right.”

Chelsea will face Southampton next on Boxing Day at Stamford Bridge.
