Mourinho: "I am not worried about Chelsea, they can't find better players"

Earlier today, Court of Arbitration for Sports announced they have reduced Chelsea's two windows transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA to one, which will allow Chelsea to be active in the January transfer window.

Tottenham boss and former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho doesn't think that the lift will have any impact on Chelsea and doesn't feel threatened by the suggestion that the gap between Chelsea and his team, Tottenham is likely to increase if Chelsea sign new players in January.

“I’m not worried about that. First of all, I’m not looking at Chelsea and the distance from them. Between us and Chelsea are still two or three teams, Wolves and United, so we cannot look so high and so far at this moment. So I’m not looking to them at all.

“The second situation for me is that it is not easy to get better players than they have. They have very good players. Even with the ban and a hypothetical multi-million budget to spend I’m not very, very sure they can get much better players than they have.” he said during his press conference today.

Tottenham are currently nine points behind Chelsea after fifteen rounds of matches in the English Premier League.
