Borussia Dortmund chief Michael Zorc has reaffirmed their belief that Chelsea and Manchester United target Jadon Sancho is unlikely to leave the club this summer.

Zorc says it difficult to think that any club will risk making a £100m signing due to financial difficulties caused by the outbreak of Covid-19.

“There is no new stand,” Michael Zorc told Sport1.

“It is currently the case for all clubs that there is driving on sight - even in England! I cannot and do not want to lean too far out of the window with forecasts because The situation is currently changing every day. We will see what happens.”

“We have a long-term contract with Jadon Sancho (until 2022; editor's note). Nothing will change about that now. We are totally relaxed about it.”

“I understand the inquiries, but these whole topics are currently not the top priority. The dominant questions that concern us at the moment are rather: How does it go on? When do we play again? It would be It is of paramount importance for all of us to be able to end the season. Especially against the background that the concept of the league is viewed positively by many experts.”

Sancho has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United but Dortmund's £100m asking price has put off Chelsea leaving Manchester United as his likely destination.
