Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is not ruling out a move back to his adopted country Germany in the future.

The 27-year-old who joined Chelsea from AS Roma said he's not currently thinking about leaving Chelsea but won't rule out returning to the Bundesliga some day.

“I would never rule out a return to the Bundesliga,” he told Sportbuzzer.

“But it is currently not in my head. I feel good in London and at Chelsea, I am completely accepted and respected - it’s not easy to give up.”

Rudiger began his career at VfB Stuttgart, worked his way from the academy to the first team in the Bundesliga.

He then joined Roma in 2015, initially on loan and a year later for a €9 million fee, before signing for Chelsea in 2017 for an estimated £27 million.
