Valencia are reportedly planning a loan move for Chelsea's goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer.

According to Spanish based Newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Valencia have set their sights on Kepa as a replacement for Jasper Cillessen who is set to leave the club this summer.

Jasper Cillessen is already in the picture to replace Andre Onana at Ajax, another Spanish newspaper Marca reported on Friday.

Valencia are well aware that they can't afford to buy Kepa who cost Chelsea 80 million euros in 2018. However, they are said to be exploring ways to sign the Spain international on a season-long loan.

The report also stated that Kepa is eager to play regular football next season to be ready for Euro 2021 championship, and knows he may not get that at Chelsea.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard dropped Kepa for Willy Caballero after a series of poor performances by the Spaniard, and he's reportedly willing to buy a new goalkeeper if Kepa leaves the club.

Kepa's departure could open up an opportunity to welcome a new goalkeeper to Stamford Bridge with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana on top of Lampard's shopping list.

Onana, who is available for £30m has made it clear he wants to leave last year's Champions League semi-finalist.

“Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with Ajax, and I am very grateful to the club,” he told AD last month.

“It was five great years here, but now my time has come to take a step. We made that appointment last year.

“I don't yet know what will happen, but my ambitions and agreements are clear.”

Replacing Kepa with Onana is surely not a bad deal but Chelsea must find a solution for Kepa before they can sign another goalkeeper in the summer.
